Welcome to Ipvive. This Policy outlines what data about you that Ipvive may collect and how we expect to use it.
In this Policy, the term "personal information" refers to any data by which you can be identified or contacted, such as your name, address, email address, telephone number, feelings, actions, opinions, etc.
Your privacy is important to us. We operate on a few fundamental principles:
• We do our best not to collect any of your personal information.
• To the extent that we may receive any of your personal information, we will not share it with anyone except to comply with the law or protect our rights.
What Data Does Ipvive Collect and How Is It Used?
One of the tools we use to understand and create recommendations for you and your relationships is a Journal that is specific to you. Your Journal allows us to better serve you in a number of ways, including keeping you informed on embedded human insights or various ways that your relationships might be improved (“Ipvive Services”).
Data in your Journal may include your locations, feelings, actions, opinions, privacy preferences, and purchase history. Your Journal is not intended to contain any of your personal information.
Ipvive Services begin to collect data about you only after you have granted your permission. Data collection continues until you proactively stop tracking from the applicable communication device or application setting.
We may store a pseudonymous Ipvive ID number on your devices. This will be used for profiling so that we can provide you with a more personalized experience. We define “pseudonymous data” as data about you that has been processed in such a manner that it can no longer be attributed to you without using personal information, which we will keep separately.
Data about you may be aggregated with other information we receive, or may or otherwise be used in ways that do not personally identify you or constitute personally identifiable information. We may use this type of aggregated or statistical information to improve the quality of Ipvive Services or for other purposes that we may deem appropriate.
Third-party products and services that integrate Ipvive Services will directly seek permission from you when they wish to employ the output from an Ipvive Service or be notified regarding specific events, services or metrics in your life. Only after you consent to share that data, will we provide it.
If you send us personal correspondence, such as emails or letters, or if other users or third parties send us correspondence concerning your use of Ipvive Services, we may collect that information into a file specific to you. Your use of the Ipvive Services is your agreement that we may use any personal information you have provided in order to contact you. We currently expect that email will be the only channel we will use.
What Does Ipvive Do To Protect Data that Is Transmitted To It?
We use industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to allow for the encryption of data about you.
While we continue to work hard to protect your personal information and any other data about you, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure. We cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us. Transmitting personal information is done at your own risk.
Ipvive welcomes your questions and comments about security and privacy. Please send any questions or comments via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
